My Story

I started quilting a little over a year ago and fell in love with the ability to create something tangible, that captured my love of print and color with infinite variety, that I could then share with those I loved. That idea led to my labels “DComfort Quilts 2026 - Snuggable Love in Slow Stitches.”

I wanted to capture the year I created the quilts on the label, and I ordered 100 (it was the minimum order for a custom label)…so now I have been on a quest to create 100 quilts (or quilted bags, shoes, etc) before the end of 2026. (I have 87 completed quilts at this point, so I should make it!).

I am always learning new things, and improving my crafting and design skills. I’d love to use those skills to help create something lasting for you. I’m passionate about bringing comfort and beauty into your home with carefully crafted, artisan quilts , either one that is already designed, or a new custom one that we design together.. Each piece is made with love and attention to detail, ensuring you get something truly special that warms both your heart and your space.
